EyeMuffs G6 Unboxing | Eye Protection | Ear Protection

When I came to know about the EyeMuffs G6 I really wanted to try them out. Woodworkers are always trying to figure out the best combination between Eye, Ear, Respiratory protection. The IsoTunes are starting to become very popular since you can listen to music while also having hearing protection. I will eventually try the IsoTunes. I feel like at least for myself that I would prefer the Ear muffs in certain situations. One of the downsides to the IsoTunes is that depending on how high you turn up your music you could cause hearing damage that way, so something to consider.

The EyeMuffs G6 have the quick flip up and down so that they can quickly just be used as earmuffs without the goggles if desired. There is an adjustment notch in the side so that you can reduce the distance between the goggles and the ears so you can have the goggles press more firmly against your face as shown in the video. I've also noticed that the pressure against the ears can also be adjusted by using the side notch.

One thing I noticed about the goggles are that there is a gap near the temples of your head and I've actually had dust go down in those but only from power carving. If you aren't doing any really heavy work where chips or dust are flying you'll probably be ok for the most part. I'm not sure how they would do for wood turning. Another thing that stuck out to me was that the ear muffs are not as deep as some other regular ear muffs. So the ears tend to get smashed down as opposed to part of the ear actually resting inside the ear pad center.

I'm enjoying the EyeMuffs overall. I hope you enjoyed the video. Please share, like and subscribe to my channel for future woodworking content.
